Community speakers & recorders

Elders and speakers who lend their voices give the dictionary its true sound. A synthesized voice is only a scaffold: wherever a community recording exists it is the real pronunciation, and the goal is always to replace the machine voice with a human one — recorded with consent, and able to be withdrawn at any time.
